I found this quite an interesting short read on CNN online. This quote just amazes me! "Louisa May Alcott studied mostly with her dad, but had a few lessons from family friends Henry David Thoreau, Ralph Waldo Emerson and Nathaniel Hawthorne. Can you imagine?"

That was a really interesting artical. Thank you.
Whom I bet they could write a good essay and build a good hut in the woods and keep an itemised account list of nails, wood etc..
Go on Jan Lyn and build your own schoolhouse between the 3 of you!

Your welcome Ganeida. It's not often you see positive articles on hsing in the news, so I couldn't resist but post it.
Peter, we could think that over but would need internet access in our schoolhouse shack as times have changed. Oh, and an offer to teach a class or two might raise the motivation! Shall I sign you on for English, History or both?
Jan Lyn
